Hi

I am wondering if anyone knows of any outlets in the Stockton/Sunderland/Newcastle/Durham area that has tents on display.  Would be nice nice to take a wander around some before deciding what to buy.  Heart set on a Tigris 600 (if they weren't so few around) but I would like to see them in the flesh so to speak before deciding.

Been to Go Outdoors and they had one tent out but a drive down to Catterick is do-able.

Failing that, ML Great Outdoors in Sunderland (just outside the Bridges) always have a lot on display.

Maybe that is why we didn't see any, might take a run down there tomorrow to have a bit poke about.

There's a shop called Camping on Tyne in Stocksfield, Northumberland that has a wide range of tent on display (mostly Outwells and Vangos).  The guys in the shop are really friendly and helpful. 

 There's also a Great Outdoors Warehouse in Shiremoor.  Not as many tents on display as in Camping on Tyne.

And of course, as suggested HEJC72, there's a new Go Outdoors in Stockton on Tees, although I've never been there.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

Hi there, yeah we went to Go Outdoors in Stockton last weekend to look at the tents, there is one tent up just as you go in the doorway, but if you go upstairs, they have loads on display.  We have seen a couple that we like, so gonna go back in a week or two to buy one, unless I find one cheaper elsewhere.
