I still haven't got it!!!!!!!!! I am off away tomorrow for a week as well!!!!!! (not camping so fortunately won't be needing it!!!!) I haven't even got my new tent out yet as the ground has been so wet and I am waiting for a friend to make me a 'footprint' which I may get tomorrow....? I can't even order the deltas until I have got the tent out to see how many I need - unless you happen to know off the top of your head!!!!!
Will report back I promise......

I pitched my Carolina in 30 minutes on my own today!
I would love a front awning for it though, but can't find one to fit...
Hope you work it all out when you come back; nothing worse than wanting something and not being able to find it!
Hello Cinderbecca. If you look at the reviews for the Outwell Carolina 3 and look at the photographs downloaded by members you will see that "camcroft" uses the Outwell Michigan's extension. It works quite well.

I've also yet to to pitch it. But the photographs suggest that 10-12 Deltas would be required. I was hoping to skip over to Warrington today to pick up a canopy but was unable. And I'm away all next week. If you've got the last one.......
Well, I got one. I justified the expense by telling myself that it didn't seem right to recommend it to others without getting one myself. Won't get to use it for at least a week.
My little Nevada 3 has been well used so far this year and I would also like an extension. It's too pricey at list price, but would the Nevada Side Extension fit? It's 270 wide, I have read the recommendation for the Aztec but how does it attach to the tent?

It doesn't attach to the tent in the way that dedicated Outwell canopies and extensions do (these use clips to attach to the poles of the tents). From what I can tell you would attach it in a similar way that you would attach a Vango canopy to a Vango tent: it is secured by it being pegged to the ground at ground-level and with guy ropes, two of which will go over the top and down the side of the tent. You may think that this is not ideal or very secure but it does work very well: I've seen it work well with a Vango Large Sun Canopy on a Vango Orchy.
Just to report back on the aztec canopy...... I put it up with the nevada 3 and it works a treat so thanks loads for that tip former scout!!!! - great piece of info I never would have come across without your help!!! I would have liked a little more space to 'cook' or 'store' things under so thank goodness I didn't go for the nevada side canopy as that would have been tiny. All in all for £20 extremely good value for money.....
It will be interesting to see - you're right! I thought the colour on the web looked as though it was blue but it is actually 2 tones of grey which go fine with the outwell logo etc so it's not too bad at all! There was a bit of a gap at the sides but I only pegged the tent up in my haste and didn't bother with the guys. Once it is pitched correctly I am assuming the front of the tent will have a fuller shape thus reducing the gap? I am still looking very enviously at the carolina 3 with the michigan extension but there is such a massive price difference I just couldn't justify it :-(
Let me know how you get on with yours.......
The Carolina is a remarkable tent for two or even three for several days and has only two flaws that I can see: the fact that you have to sleep sideways to the door and that there was no extension/canopy released for sale at the same time as the tent was released. But given that I have a Minnesota I don't really have need of a Carolina.
The Nevada 3 is for a different purpose: for two of us for one or two nights only or as a "pup" tent when the Minny is at capacity. I'm presuming that I will get to use it later in the month.
I notice that Go Outdoors have again changed their price. Their prices on the Nevada 3 have been "up and down like the Assyrian Empire." (Name that film!!)
