I wondered whether anyone can solve a mystery for me. I have just bought a Outwell Nevada 3 tent from go outdoors today and am slightly confused about the poles. I already have a Khyam Ontario 8 and all the poles are the same just colour coded. When I opened the tent pole bag to erect the Nevada 3 today there was one black pole in the middle of the poles. I know these are colour coded with one blue pole and one red pole for the colour coded sleeves but the black one does not look like any of the others with the criss cross design. Please can someone assure me that i am not going mad and that this is correct and not a problem with just this tent.
Thanks
Nicola

It is not a single pole section there is already one of those in the bag which is the same as the other poles for a spare. This is a black pole in the middle of the section of poles that looks really out of place against the others. It looks like this has been replaced but this shouldnt be the case as it is a brand new tent which i only bought yesterday. I think i will ring the retailers as it is a mystery.
We have just pitched our Nevada 3 for the 1st time. The black pole in the middle of the poles is just colour coded, the same as the blue and red! There are black, red and blue sections for them to go in!
Love the tent and only had lunch in it in the garden!

Hello and welcome to the forum. A member since September and this is your first post. What restraint!!
Keep giving the positive vibes about the Nevada 3 - I've got one in the spare bedroom I'm waiting to pitch.

We are off to the Packhorse House Campsite. Going to the Cromford Steam Fair on Saturday. Not been to this one before. We have also camped at Park House Campsite. Very small. quiet campsite.
I have both in my virtual brochure already (mind you, I think I've gost of the country's campsites in my virtual brochure!). I was put off by the tone of the Packhorse House Campsite's website; it seemed a little draconian. But I rather fancy Park House. My younger son wants a short camp with just the two of us this summer so I may try there.
Thanks.
