Hi,
Does anyone know why the Gelert Footprint has four holes in the middle?
Thanks,
David.

Hi David
Are there corresponding holes in the tent groundsheet ? If so, maybe for pegging down the bedroom inners ?

Thanks for your reply Mike.
Sorry, maybe I should have been clearer. I have a Gelert Corvus 6+2 tent which has a fully sewn in grounsheet. As far as I remember, there's no corresponding holes in the SIG. Just managed to put the giant tent up but not bedrooms in as it was a trial run in the garden. Before I know it, dear husband has neatly pack it all back in the bag and ready to go for our first camp this weekend!!

Surely you fasten down the bedroom inners to the SIG not the footprint groundsheet,or am I missing something here?
Mahalo,do you have a seperate footprint groundsheet? or are you classing the tents SIG as the footprint?

Hi SunValleySue,
Yes I have a seperate Gelert footprint. I no longer have the tent up in my garden as hubby took it down and packed it ready for our first camping trip this weekend. We did not attempt to put the bedrooms up so not entirely sure what attaches to what.
Will find out more later in the week.

tbh have not pitched again as my garden is not big enough, but am at pillaton farm end august and will pitch differently (rear to front) this time.
doors are zipped all around except where thry meet at the bottom, I will however be adding some self adhesive velcro along the flaps to add some extra weatherproofing
go on have the corvus, you know you want the room!!

Hi,
Just got this response from the friendly Kim at Gelert. It all makes sense now. Thank you all for your help.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are for when you put the bedrooms inside the tent, this is for pegs to go through them to stop the bedrooms from rising from the ground,
Hope this helps
Kind Regards
