Hi

We need a 4 bedroom tent for 2 adults, 3 kids.

I've narrowed it down to the Gelert Beyond Meridian 10 or the Vango Tigris 800.

Any thoughts from you experts would be hugely appreciated.............I'm at saturation point with tent buying and need to make my mind up!!

We have just been away for a week in wind and rain in our vango tigris 800 and loved it.  It stood up to the awful weather brilliatly.  Compared to our last tent (outwell) that leaked like a sieve it was great. Not been in the Gelert so cant advise on that one but would recomend the vango.

We put the large bedroom with the partition on the end without the door and a small bedroom on the other side.  This means  the large door on the end could still be used and we have added a canopy to that end to do our cooking in.

The Tigris is a lovely tent, no complaints here whatsoever with it. It's very versatile - lots of different ways you could have the bedrooms.

I haven't seen the Gelert so can't comment on that, but doubt that you would have any problems with the Tigris. Have you been able to see one in the flesh? I would strongly recommend doing that if you haven't already.
