I've seen the Wynnster Eagle 6, read the reviews and it seems ideal for my needs but I can't actually find it for sale fairly local to me and only one or two places on line. Has anyone got any suggestions for where I might see one up or somewhere I might be able to buy one?
Thanks

I emailed Tents direct asking about a price and availability and they said they had 2 left at £229 each. Just phoned them and bought one!!!! Been told it will arrive Thursday or Friday at the latest so I might get to use it next week if the weathers nice
Just worked out a slight problem - the site I was going to go to (though haven't booked) has 7.5m square pitches and this tent has a foot print of 7.45m by just under 5m so might have to try for somewhere else! Oh well, just think of all the space for myself and my children (14 and 3) - especially if it rains as expected!!
I could but you have to get the car in the pitch space as well - never mind found loads of other possibilities using the site search facility. Spent a very interesting couple of hours browsing.

Oregano (or any other Eagle owner) - any tips for putting the tent up? It has arrived and is now sat in my living room but I fear the first time I put it up may well be when I go away! My garden is just not suitable and any way nowhere is really dry enough for me to try.
I'm currently in the tent in the rain on a campsite in Filey. Tent went up really easily for my son and I - even in the pouring rain yesterday. Only problem was a few puddles inside the tent but they could have been for a variety of reasons - probably cos the tent doors were open (manufacturer had packed it like that). I'm so impressed with the tent - its huge!! Its very tall - I'm 5ft 5 and even standing on a step I can only just reach the ceiling so bit difficult putting the light up The bedroom pods are great but one of the sections in the 4 berth pod is slightly smaller and I'm in it! My son's got the 2 berth pod and my daughter the other part of the 4 berth. Recommend this one! I'll write a full review when I get back.

It is a totally magnificent tent. I really love mine although since getting flooded out twice I have now bought a caravan. I won't be getting rid of my Eagle though as I am still a camper at heart. Enjoy it.
Well a bit disappointed as during the heavy rain yesterday the tent leaked in several places along the lower seams. I've also spotted that the stitching is coming undone on one of the toggles for the (unused) storage pockets under the window and it leaked badly there. I'm really pleased with the tent other than this so not sure what to do now. I have a tube of seam sealant (I think thats what its called) but not sure what to do with it or even if the small tube will be enough!
Its a real shame because its a lovely tent and I'm really impressed (as are others on the campsite) with how easily it goes up and just how much space there is once its up.
The leaks where on the seams where the tent colour changes from green to black around the bottom of the tent. Most were minor leaks and it really was heavy rain so not sure if I should have expected it. Certainly the stitching coming undone under the window is my main concern and that might just be a simple patch job. There were no leaks higher on the walls, roof or bedroom areas.
I've emailed the company I bought it from and they've emailed me back to give them a ring once I've returned from holiday so hopefully I'll get it all sorted as I still really love the tent.
I'm currently sat in the covered porch bit watching over the stove as the potatos cook to go with my savoury mince which has been cooking all afternoon in my slow cooker!!
