I bought one off ebay and it was great BUT we got a dogsitter while we sussed the site out, the tent was fine and we will keep it but its just not big enough for our dog.

We have re-booked the site but need a new tent to fit her in, the bedrooms are not an issue as such aslong as they are 4 berth (its for 2 adults a child and a dog)  its the living area we need for bad weather/general sitting in when it gets late.

I can't go high end of the market and was thinking of the hi gear brand as i saw some this weekend and they seemed ideal (tunnel variety), i've got just under 200pounds for a tent with a spacious living area! (built in ground sheet a must too).

The orchy 600 looks good thanks, but i'm wondering i presume they are popular and will be out of stock at many retailers thats why i thought the hi gear brand, like i said i was very impressed with them on the site we were on.

We have the Gelert Horizon 8 and have just spent a very rainy week in it!  It has an enormous amount of space inside.  We only put up the bedrooms on one side and this left a great amount of room for us and our choccy labrador to run around in.  If its too expensive try the Horizon 6, its not much smaller and has the flexibility needed to accomodate you all.  Dont worry about the SIG. Our dog was never out of the river last week, so so muddy but at the end of the week we just wiped down the floor with damp towels and it is good as new.

Good luck

Sassy
