hi all my first post!
dont know how many of you own one of these tents but the instructions are not very good, in fact there isnt any instructions just some diagrams, i emailed coleman and asked if they could give me more detailed instructions not sure if they will help any of you who own this tent but thought id pass on their instructions anyways
Modulus Range Set Up Instructions
1. Remove all the poles from the carry bag, identify and group. 2. Remove the integral tent from the carry bag. 3. Unroll the tent and orientate for best position. 4. Assemble all of the poles and lay to one side. 5. Insert the poles into the colour coded sleeves. 6. Do not put the ends of the poles into the eyelets until all poles are in the sleeves (the tent should still be flat on the ground). 7. Be sure that the doors are unzipped to prevent a vacuum when lifting the poles into place. 8. Pull, square lift and peg out the tent (this will be a bit difficult for one person. If there are two people get opposite ends of one of the end poles and push the pole up into an arc. 9. You are now ready to peg out the tent. 10. Insert the door canopy poles. 11. Unzip the main living area to attach bedrooms and secure to the gaters in the groundsheet 12. Insert the dome pole in the center of the living space and tension to create a dome effect.
Coleman tent - tips
Condensation:- Ensure that all zips and baffles are fully closed when it is raining to prevent any water seeping through. Try not to leave damp items inside the tent. Make sure you make use of the ventilation flaps at the bottom of the tent, also those at high level. Tension:- Check if zips run smoothly, if not try releasing some tension from the end guy ropes. If the tent is being set up under windy conditions, use all of the guy ropes available as this will ensure the tent stability. Cleaning:- Dirt can be removed by brushing softly or rubbing with a soft soap solution. Detergents cannot be used as these can affect the water-repellent of the fabric. Rinse all traces of soap and then dry your tent in a well ventilated area. Make sure that it is out of direct sunlight, or reverse it. Packing/Storage:- Remove all poles. Lay the tent flat on the ground and fold in half making sure no air is trapped inside the tent. If you remove the air it will make the tent easier to be inserted into the carry bag. Fold flysheet in half in the opposite direction. Fold in half again until the width and length are the same as the carry bag. Ensure that the poles are kept separate from the tent. This should now fit into the carry bag. If the tent is transported ‘’wet’’ from the campsite, spread the tent out when you get home and allow it to dry before storing. Measure the carry bag and fold the tent flysheet and groundsheet together according to its length.
