I love this tent and bought it last year (2008) version. We have used it approximately 6 times but on the past few occasions, are having problems getting the poles into the ring and pin system due to the tightness of the fabric. We now have to take out the last section of the pole, put the pin into the loose pole then and with much effort connect the last section to the rest of the inserted pole?

Anyone else experiencing any similar difficulties and any advice would be greatly appreciate?

I have been struggling with that on each occasion I have pitched my 2007 M6, apparently the straps on one side can be adjusted/loosened, so if that is the case make sure they are the pins you put in last. (My excuse is they were on my wife's side and she put her pins in first

).

On ours the rings and pins are on straps, and the instructions say to loosen them, insert the pins into the poles, then tighten the straps back to the tent.

Thanks all for your messages - did not think ours were on straps though that you could adjust. Each time the tent fabric seems to be tighter. Next time we go away, I will check. Many thanks.
