Hi - i have been searching the web for reviews etc of my family tent to no avail. I have come to realise that it is quite old!!! My estimation is that it is about 11 yrs old & is a vango colorado 350 which i think they stopped making or something as you only seem to get colorado 600/800 now. Have bought other tents since but always go back too using this one for us two & daughter. Anyone else got one or a tent this old they still use??

Just been trying to work out how old our Cabanon Paris is, we have had it 21 years and we bought it off a retired couple who went camping with there young children in it, so it must be about 40 years old at least. I did ask Cabanon how old it was but never got a reply.

Glad to know i am not the only one with an oldish tent!! We have taken ours loads of places, including Corsica last year. We are off to Gairloch & applecross this week. I guess it just shows that if you do take care of stuff it lasts!! Hopefully i wont get it out of the cupboard & realise theres a big hole i missed when drying it out last............ We are also taking a coleman cobra 3 for 2 teenagers this trip - bought it about 5 yrs ago in a sale & never used it yet - anyone have one? Any good?

I have a Walker Okalahoma 6 berth frame tent bought new in 1978, I have had many wonderful holidays in it whilst the kids were growing up and a few with just my wife once the kids decided they were too old and camping wasn’t cool!!. I have even used it a couple of times in the back garden as a makeshift marquee for parties. I bought an Outwell Colarado 5 in July to use as a quick getaway tent if the weather was good, but the plastic pole joints failed last weekend in moderate winds, after only two weekends of use!!!!! I have exchanged it today for a Vango Columbia 600, I hope this proves to be a better buy.
Dave has a Vango Mk 4 std which he wouldn't part with for the world - it's 29 years old (1980). He would love to try it out again, but I would be bent double afterwards lol
I HAVE A CARAVAN KAIPAK 2 TENT BOUGHT NEW 26 YEARS AGO WITH MY FIRST FEW WAGES (£110 I THINK) AND A CARAVAN KAIPAK 3 BOUGHT SECOND HAND ABOUT 17 YEARS AGO. BOTH STILL USED FOR SHORT BREAKS.
