Hi Everyone

It's been a while since we bought a tent. When we were looking at new ones today, most of the bedroom inners seemed to be made of polyester. Our current ones are polyester at the door end but the other walls are thin cotton.

Do the polyester inners get condensation inside, in the same way as parts of a polyester tent do? I'm thinking not, as that would be just plain stupid, but I thought I'd better check.

Most of the specs on inner tents say breathable inner, I assume they breath because they are not water proofed.

I'd rather be kayaking.

In the shop we were looking, there was no info other than dimensions and price. I've looked at manufacturer's websites since then and noticed the 'breatheable' tag. I've assumed that means no condensation.

All my current tents have polyester/synthetic inner tents .

You may find condensation under the beds if you don't lift the bedding regularly , but its not an issue on the walls or roof of the polyester innertents.

They may also have ventilation mesh panels at the top of the doorways you can unzip too. Ours have mesh panels that zip about a quarter of the way down the doors for extra breeze to circulate in hot weather.
