Hi everyone,


I am (after some initial problems!) very happy with my Tigris 800 and extension, but find it takes too long to put up properly for a short weekend away.

Could anyone recommend a good, cost effective (i.e. cheapish!) tent that could house 2 adults and 3 kids that is quick to pitch? Space doesn't have to be vast as we wouldn't be taking (literally) the kitchen sink for these trips.

My last 2 tents have been Vango so would look at their range, but I am open to any recommendations.

how about the Icarus 500 although it may be a squeeze with 5 of you. How old are the kids and do you use airbeds as if so then the bedroom wont fit 5 airbeds. The tent is very easy to put up and cheap plus your extension will fit to increase your livivng space.

The kids are 10,4 and 1. We use airbeds in the Tigris, but would get away with roll-mats in the new tent, although the youngest usually has a travel cot (although has managed in a sleeping bag before!)
