We have just returned from Cornwall and the only thing we have brought back with us that is still dry is the wetsuit's, didn't get one day on the beach..!!!
I would be greatfull to any one who has some good advise on how to completely dry out a tent before packing it away for the season.I have resorted to putting our Norfolk Lake polycotton tent up in the car port but the weather is still grim and the air is still damp and I'm finding it difficult to dry the cotton out thoroughly enough.

Well, I would just leave it there till you get a good warm day to pack it up in. It's not going to get mouldy sitting there with such a good airflow round it, after all.
Sorry to hear your holiday was so wet - we haven't had brilliant weeks this year again, we managed to get a couple of decent spells inbetween the showers. Your tent looks to be in the best place to dry out. From the forecast, this Friday looks to be quite sunny and warm (fingers crossed).
You got a good place to dry out there you may want to turn it round to get air on both sides & pull it out in the sun when you can also try to get some air under it or blow some warm air through from the end
or you could try putting it over the banisters on the stairs & turning it regular or hang it up at the top of a stair well hanging down any place to drip dry a tent will do so long as you dont put it away wet
good luck

Wow, there are people here who would be jelous of such a great drying area, just leave it where it is until it's bone dry, we're only in early August so it's likely to happen
We left ours here for the last week to dry. Its now as dry as a bone and back in the bags as of tonight.
In all fairness, it was dry within a couple of hours, but we left it to air for a while and then we got 3 days of rain, and this has been the first day we could get it down.
