I've noticed a couple of threads regarding tent sales lately and was wondering if anyone knows what the trend is in sales and when the best bargains are to be had?  I'm thinking this would be good to know in general, and in particular I'm dreaming of an Esvo pyramid tent and I notice they have 20% off many tents on their website at the moment. Does anyone (Dutch tent appreciation society perhaps...) know if this is likely to be the best discount or do discounts tend to increase towards the end of the season?

Hi, Esvo are great tents and they deliver to the UK free of charge.
As regards tent sales,it will depend on how much stock retailers have left and whether some models will be discontinued for next year,usually the ones that are being discontinued offer the biggest reductions and sometimes come with free carpets footprints etc.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like there are no hard and fast rules - I will just have to keep my eyes open for a bargain.. I didn't realise Esvo delivered free, thats amazing. Unfortunately I've just had a big bill for wages overpayment today (boo), so the Esvo will have to remain a dream for the time being (lucky I didn't order it yesterday like I was tempted to).
