So, we did it. We went and bought a new tent to replace the Royal (RIP). A shiny new Coleman Weathermaster L. It is beautiful. Can't wait to put it up and have a play!

ive just bought the same tent and cant wait to go away in less than 2 weeks. its a lovely tent isnt it, snug bedrooms but loads of living space. its a beauty.
is it sad to be really excited about it? I bought the carpet too and treated OH to a coleman sofa bed which had had some good reviews so she can relax a bit more. I love that it comes with a windbreak that has little windows in. Oooooh can't wait!!!
ohh my gosh... where did you buy the carpet, we didnt see one!!! but yes the windreak is amazing!!! I am not going for a sofa bed as i have would have to fight my daughter for it!! My next purchase is a cupboard to keep things tidy! and a new kitchen stand..........my oh is dreading it.

managed to get one off ebay - b and m tents were selling it. There was only that one but i'm sure if you have a hunt round youll find one. It's just a basic coleman tent carpet - 2.30 x 2.30.
Welcome to the club! (Unofficial!) I'm a member of the 2007 club, the green Weathermaster but hey, who's bothered! Love mine but just wish that they did a carpet to fit it properly, the living space being 4m by 3m so i have bought an Outwell Montana 12 carpet. Fits perfectly!
I wanted a green one but couldn't find one anywhere. The grey one has this weird window in the sleeping pods and so i think we may be up as early as the sun...
Yeah i had a look at that carpet, it looked good. Quite like the idea that the coleman one doesn't reach the edges though - it means we don't have to put it underneath the kitchen stand (the Mrs is a mucky bugger when preparing dinner and i'd hate to get it filthy!). I'm also paranoid about rising damp (it made a complete mess of the last tent with wall to wall carpet) and figured that a gap round the edge would give everything chance to dry out a bit?? Maybe i've just made that up?!?!

I would be surpised - it took two of us to just wheel the bag out to the car and it's still dumped in our hallway until we can muster the strength to move it again, nevere mind actually put it up!! It's a bit heavy but maybe, if you've got a bit more muscle than us...?!
we fast discovered we would have to do that! No idea where it is going to live though. Other tents live in loft. Can't see us lifting it up there. Last big tent fit under the bed. Can't see that happening either!

We have a green weathermaster L. Its brill! Our best friends have the XL and thats awsome!
We have attached a Kyham sun shelter to the side of ours, which fits perfect.
Dont you just love the out of site storage behind the pods? Every time I look around a Monty I can just imagine all the clutter scattered around their living area Ha Ha Ha! poor things and they paid twice as much!
