Just got the 1st chance for a practice run with my new repacement tent. The first tent leaked a lot so returned it and went for a Gelert instead. Once up I noticed a 4" tear in the inner skin roof! do you think gelert will replace it directly or will I have to go back to the people I purchased it off?

oh dear not good! i would personaly take it back to were you purchased it from and get them to replace it, ive also just purchased a gelert albury today,have checked everythings there but havent yet put it up due to the weather! hope you get sorted,let us know how you get on.

Hi

Problem is this is the second tent in a month from the same place, 1st one was like a tea bag in the first bit of rain. took 3 weeks to get the second from them. Were off on monday for a weeks camping.

Have sent an email to Gelert about it, there only 45 mins up the road from me but dont have time to go see them

By the way, I hope you dont have loads of camping furniture/airbeds etc as I was surprised how little room there was inside for an 8 birth tent :(

oh i see, i wouldnt buy anything else off them again, id find another tent somewere else if poss, sounds like they have dodgy stock!i know its a rush with you going on monday but i would deff get a replcement if you can and then sort them out when you get back,hope you get something sorted out and have a good holiday
