I've been well and truly bitten by the camping bug after having spent the last three weeks in France. But our tent is huge and there's no way I could put it up by myself.
I was planning to take the kids off camping for a few days with my OH joining us from work later on but it really means getting anotehr tent which can be put up by one person (my kids are only six and four).
Ideally I'd like one with decent living space (for rain) and a sig. Is there such a thing?

Hubby won't be along and can't come along - we would be camping somewhere about an hour from home and he already commutes to london but joining us from work on the Friday (this is a hypothetical scenario... I'm not sure he took to camping like we did!)
Yes RedDragon my Wynnster is way too big to pitch myself. At the moment it takes two of us about an hour to peg it all out completely. Right at the beginning after inserting the poles he needs to go inside to hold it up while I furiously put the poles in their holes... I'm not even tall enough to do that bit.
I'm wanting something smaller, quicker, easier. And as cheap as poss really!

A tunnel shape is the most manageable design for solo campers. SO look at the Aztec Galeria and Outwell Nevada M. Both are good quality, full SIG middle sized tunnel tents.
It may be worth a call to the site that you are booked in on, they may well be able to help if you explain the situation. Some sites do have staff that can help you pitch for a small charge.

Yeah those Evolutions do look terrific, I saw some at a show a couple of weeks ago and was quite tempted myself. The space was impressive even on the 400 and it was quite happy on a very windy site.
Otherwise a small tunnel tent would serve you well also. Take a look at the outdoormegastore and yeomans sites to get an idea of what is available at your price point.

I would back you with both of those tents. I had a look at the Nevada M pitched yesterday at Go Outdoors. It does look very easy to pitch and I was talking to one of the staff whose job it is to pitch the tents and she told me she had one herself and it takes her 20 mins to pitch and peg out. I love the Nevada M. Hopefully I have just sold a couple of my tents and the money can go towards the Nevada M to replace what I am losing. I also have the Galeria 4 and that's fantastic but very heavy in comparison with the Nevada M. The Nevada M I think I could pitch myself but not sure about the Galeria. Got that for next season and bought it second hand from eBay - where else lol!
Licata 400 is a lovely weekend tent and easy to pitch solo. It can accommodate 2 x 140cm wide double airbeds and there is a dividing curtain if you want a bit of privacy. Tent has SIG and full standing height with generous living space. 2 massive windows with curtains makes the interior bright and airy and the door can be canopied open. Good ventilation too. Tent weighs about 15kg and has a 2000HH rating.
The answer to your quest, would be a Karsten tent, no poles as you inflate, so very easy I imagine for one person to set up, I noticed these tents whilst camping this year in France, it was the Dutch again of course, they do seem to know a thing or two about tents, the only downer is price, they are an expensive tent, but then again good kit never comes cheap.
A karsten is actually my fave tent and as soon as I win the lottery I will be buying one. I think they're great but require an investment as the "main" tent.. I'm just looking for a quickie cheapie weekender!

I paid £99.99 for ours - BARGAIN!!
This is the tent that we bought for one nighters or one parent holidays and it is great.
I can put it up with the help of my 8 year old daughter but I'm sure that I could manage on my own if I needed to.
The Quechua base seconds 4.2 from Decathlon is very easy to set up, only takes a couple of minutes apparently and is not a bad size. Gets good reviews too!
