Hi everyone - we've just tried out our Hartford xl for the first time and absolutely loved it except for the fact that the front porch looked very strange! The angle was much more pointy than it should have been and when we took the tent down we found the pole had split at the point. We're off camping again on Tuesday but the retailer says we have to send the pole to them and they will check which one it is before they can send us a replacement. Obviously this won't get to us in time. Does anyone know of a way of getting replacements quickly?

Try Yeomans outdoors, they tend to have quite a few replacement poles for outwell tents and they replaced a pole for us after our Hartford XL had a broken pole for one of the bedroom pods.

Maybe give them a ring before you turn up just to make sure.

We've been plagued by broken poles in our Hartford XL- bedrooms, canopy, mains. In the end I went to Go Outdoors and got the complete set of spare poles for each size- cost £60 in total. Great. Going for metal next!
