Hi, recently  bought  a Mojave 5 tent, really  good , but  not  sure how to place the corner guy  ropes ? as they  have 2 location  points upper &  lower , with only  one rope &  peg. Do yo  place them  90 deg to the front  / back panel or do yo  place them at  90  deg to the side panel? Recent used the tent  and found it  pooled rain on the roof panels, as they  were not taught  enough ? thought this maybe the problem? Any  ideas?

Hi there,

We have the Mojave 5 too, and had it out at the weekend there for its first official outing....(See pics for how I pitched guy lines) Not sure if this is right or wrong but felt right and had no trouble with sagging roof, if anything a little tight down the sides!.

I reckon the end guys (corners) should probably be at 45 degrees to the tent to give best stability...BUT I am open to being told differently by someone more experienced.

Liam

Hi Liam,

Appreciate the feedback, and the picture, your tent does look to be much tighter then we had it . Will give this a try next time.

Cheers & thanks

Paul
