Hi,

We have recently bought a Hi Gear Mojave 5 tent, and after a couple of camping trips have decided that we really do need an extension for cooking under etc. due to the nature of our great British weather!!!!
We can't seem to find an extension for this tent anywhere. Please could you let us know if you have one or know of one that would fit.

Thankyou

Welcome to the forum !

I suggest that you have a look at canopies that are fundamentally freestanding , though they usually lack side protection . Gelert make the Newbury , and perhaps tall wind breaks around the side , or wind break with built in canopy . Failing that, and it is a bitof a stab in the dark, try the canopies from Sprayway. If you get them from Yeomans, and explain your situation, if the arrangement does not work , you should have the least hassle with this vendor .

Be seeing you!!

Hi,

Thanks for the welcome and the info but yes we did really want something with side protection as we were thinking that we could leave our camping stove and bits and pieces set up in there without having to move them in and out if it was raining.

Thanks again!

Hi there,

Try following this link http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/NEARLY-NEW-TENTS__W0QQ_armrsZ1  we have the Mojave 5 and have just bought this, and it seems to fit fine. Although only tried it in back garden so far..but hoping to go away with it this weekend.

Hi,

Thanks, it's nice to know that there is actually an exrension out there that will fit the tent. We just didn't think about extensions when we bought the tent but after going camping a couple of times we realised that we really did need one.
I am going to order one right now and give it a try, not a bad price either!!!
I will let you know how we get on.
