Hi we are looking to get the Florida as our new tent the Corado 6 let us down big time as explained in my other post,i like the Montana but hate the fact you have to buy a seperate canopy, and only get the use out of half the canopy because the other half has to compensate for the slope of the tent and after having such a big canopy on the Corado i feel its money wasted so we are looking at the Florida, has anyone tried it,is it a good solid tent?any grumples?and will it still fit on the camping sites i.e c&cc sites, any advice would be great, dont want to buy another disaster,Thanks.

Just commented on your vermont xl post. Thought I should add that the vermont has the outside porch area which is huge and of course means that no canopy is needed.
The vermont is 4.8 m wide and so there are no problems about it fitting on C & C club sites.

Thanks Jane im thinking more for the Vermont xl,like you said it already has the canopy which you can still close of to the elements and also i could be wrong but i dont think the windows in the inside of the Florida open, would that not make the tent feel like an oven?but like i said i could be wrong!
We looked at the Florida, Vermont L, Vermont XL and Ohio at Yeomans camping exhibition in Evesham on saturday - originally OH liked the Florida and I liked the Ohio but we ended up buying the Vermont XL!! This was mainly due to the massive space in the lounge area and porch area of the tent and the price - the Florida, Vermont L and Ohio are £499 (but last weekend if you ordered on the internet you received 10% discount) the Vermont XL was a little more expensive at £599 but again we got the 10% discount and a few other freebies thrown in for good measure as we ordered these at the camping exhibition. Don't regret our discussion but it did take us over an hour to make our minds up!!
