Hi all, I need a bit of advice. We went camping last week and the weather was horrendous, rained and rained 7 out of 9 days we were at the campsite. We still enjoyed our camping experience though. I have just realised that my son and my husband both have a phobia for slugs. On occasions 2 or 3 slugs managed to sneak in to our tent to the horror of my husband who was so terrified but had to have the task of removing them. He says he's thinking of buying a new tent with sewn in ground sheet so that creepy crawlies and the insects won't find their way inside our tent. He's head over heels on tunnel tents because they are very easy to erect and give plenty of living space. We've also just bought a tunnel sun canopy to go with our current tent. Do you guys know of an 8-berth tunnel tent (preferably by Vango) with sig and can go with our sun canopy? Your help will be much appreciated.

Not a Vango I'm afraid but I can highly recommend the Kyham Ontario 8.
Absolutley fabulous tent.

* SIG
* Groundsheet goes flat at doors so no trip hazard
* Bedrooms can comfortably accommodate 8 x 75cm wide airbeds (so a genuine 8 berth)
* Standing height (225cm)
* Massive living area
* Large windows with vents and curtains let in lots of light
* Good ventilation
* Cable entry points
* Doors can be canopied out to create porch
* Very easy to pitch
* Fits on a standard pitch (tent measures 7.5m x 3.7m)

See no reason why your Vango porch wouldn't fit - I know the Gelert one fits the Onty.

Vango tigris ticks all your boxes.  You will have to check the Vango website as towhether the sun canopy will fit.

Definately this tent. I have the Raven 8 which is the same but different colour. Absolutely love it. Always look at other tents but haven't found one better.

I cannot recommend the HI GEAR kalahari 8 enough to you.

It is BRILLIANT!

Taking ours on its 5th outing next weekend, been fantastic in all weathers.

Take a look at the reviews Here

Grab it whilst you can....or get the kalahari 10, I think it's still a tenner cheaper at £189.00 at GO OUTDOORS.

I would have said the Tigris/Nevis as well as the Vango large canopy fit's these, think the extension one will as well.

Thanks everyone, next job is to look for the tents suggested on tent displays so my husband can have a look at them himself. Can't wait. Keep your suggestions coming please.

There is always the Kampa Salcombe 8 , which is another immense tunnel.
