Pitched my vermont L three times now and love the tent, just wondering the correct way for the bathtub to go in as i noticed that it has zips on it but dont know what they are for...any ideas?

does it mater which way you put it in?

We unzip it when we have the whole front open so that the groundsheet lies flat, and then zip up at night or when raining so that it stands up a bit to prevent rain running in.  Does that make sense?  We put it in the same way each time I think, I thought it could only go in one way?

Possibly does only go in one way, the wife puts that in whilst i sort out the rest of the gear, just confused as to what the purpose of the zips is!

The zips go at the front by the door so that you can unzip them when the door is open to make your entrance flat.  Saves the kids tripping over every time they go in and out!!

Always zip them back up in the rain though unless you want a river running through!

My youngest fell over the bathtub at the w/e. I only laughed a little...

Generally, we don't normally use the bathtub but it was _so_ muddy that we did (with locking tiles over the top to mop up some of the water/mud everyone still brought in).

That was definitely a wet weekend!

We always have a very large piece of cardboard on the floor in our Vermont porch.  We put it on the right hand side so it comes in front of the door as well.  All shoes are kept on it and it soaks up any wet and mud!

Not sure if the Vermont is the same as the Norfolk's bathtub but may be worth reading our post    Flood in a Norfolk Lake  in the Tent section !!

There are 2 colour coded toggles on the bath tub and tent. One is yellow, and the other red. You just have to match up the toggles on the bathtub to the ones on the tent. The zips then end up at the front door (which we leave unzipped).

When you follow the colour codes, the bath tub also ends up the right way up.

Hope that makes sense!
