quechua 4:2 vis a vis. Our friends bought one for the 1-2 night trips. rest of the time they luxuriate in a nebraska xxxxxxxl which is huge but too big for the short trips. the quechua was so easy to put up. I did it for them on my own and put it down just to try it and it really did just take two minutes. Bummer is we are a family of 5 and just wouldn't fit.

Another vote too for the Quechua Base 4.2 :)
We bought it for touring/quick breaks, so far so good.
We are a family of 5, but eldest has a smaller quechua pop up and we sometimes add on the Base Full to create extra living space if we're stopping for longer than a weekend.

We have only used the Quechua during this season so don't know how it would stand up in cold weather - it did really well in the rain and wind but I think something more substantial might be more suitable for real cold weather but that's just my guess. Someone else might be able to say different though.

Another vote for the 4.2!!
I'd say it might be a bit chilly in the sleeping pods if you're on the fabric side of the bed - but warm sleeping bags and pyjamas will sort that! It's worth it purely for the sheer joy of taking 5 minutes from pulling up in the car to putting the kettle on outside your erected tent!!

Canvas bell tent....less than 15 minutes to put it up, single handed. Warm in cold weather, cool in hot weather. Lovely!
