We have a Royal tent and it is excellent. Really well made and we have never had any problems with it. I know some people have had a few problems with the Bordeaux model this year with bending poles but all manufacturers have some dodgy tents. I would definately recommend Royal tents and the Biarritz has a few reviews here

We've had our Avignon for 5 years now and spend 2 weeks in France every summer (at least).  Love our tent and it still looks virtually brand new and have had no problems at all with it.  We haven't even had a pole break yet (fibreglass poles on ours) so quality seems good too.

Hi Campbug,

We got our Biarritz 6 this summer & delighted with it. Our first time camping & first tent, we found it perfect for family of 4 & dog, loads of room, excellent quality and good value for money. Used in heavy rain & no leaks! The porch area & central area are both really spacious - we had a folding picnic bench/table, 4 folding chairs and dog bed in the central part and still had loads of room to move around.

We also bought a footprint (great for deciding where to position tent) & a carpet & would recommend both.

As camping newbies we found it easy to pitch, although we had to time it between the showers, as inner tent pitch first! Even been able to get it back into the storage bag after use.

Good variety of windows & ventilation. No problems with quality, poles, sig, zips & seams all good, but will be getting some better quality pegs for next time.

Would definitely recommend
