I am looking for some inner tents to replace the ones i have for a Khyam Ontario 8.

The layout of the tent is: 2 x 2 man inners, 1 x 4 man inner

I need to replace the 2 man inners. Does anyone know where i might be able to find them, or a reasonable substitue?

Many thanks

Karl

Hi Karl ,
Ebay would probably be your best bet. Inners are very expensive to replace direct from manufacurers as I found when searching for some last year . Look at tents sold as spares or repair ,and check dimensions of other similar size tunnel tents. You can get away with the fixing points not being in the right places by tying some tent pole elastic on the existing elastics or straps .
there are a few camping shops selling on ebay who do sell spare inners from time to time, sometimes new, sometimes ex display.
I even emailed loads of camping shops asking if they had spare inners from ex display models , and its the right time of year to do this now .
I found what I needed on ebay eventually.

Just being nosey, what happened to your inners?

Khyam dont actually sell these seperately as I wanted the 2 man inners as well. I was told that nobody actually supplies these and the best bet was to buy a second hand Onty 8 and use these inners!!! NOT very helpful advice and I'm still looking!!!

Good luck if you manange to find something and please let me know where you got them!!!!!!!

A tent like this might have the right size bedrooms,if you check the measurements carefully first of course.

The argos ones don't go for huge prices and even if they say they won't post due to size and weight , if you explain first that you only want the bedrooms if you win , they might post these for you.
others to look for are the rage ,or leben tents, also cheap ones that might have the right size bedrooms.

I was quoted over £100 for a new replacement 6 berth inner for the sunncamp eden.

I bought the tent 2nd hand  on eBay and it has some damage to the inners.. a few holes to the roof part of the inner. I am curently seeking some compensation as there was no mention of this in the listing, otherwise i probably would not have bought the tent!
