Hi
The point of this forum is to help each other out but as a retailer there are rules i have to follow such as not selling stuff on here.
I follow these rules but in this case i hope the ukcampsite people will let this one go as you are going to find it very hard finding a killington 600 carpet.
I have a new Killington 600 carpet and footprint that i want to pass on as a set.
We are not happy at all with the quality of our killington 600 carpet - it's our second one and it is rubbish. Frays and holes and bobbles and I don't think it is going to last 5 mins. The first one we returned had massive poorly done repairs to the underside. We have just accepted that its pants now. Vango have said their new carpets are much better and that this was their first year at doing carpets but that doesn't help me!
The good thing about it is that it DOES insulate the living area of the tent, I just don't look at it!
Hi
I have to agree, the early carpets were not great. On the other hand the older ones are thicker which is nice but the weave is looser, so the threads can get caught... I still think there better than no carpet. The 09 ones are better. We never have shoes on in the tent and this will help.
