I dont know the answer to that one but we fold the 4.2 with both inner tents in no bother.

yes it does, i asked the nice man at decathlon and he assured me it could be left in place and then because i was looking sceptical he put the inner in, packed up the tent and placed it in the bag, no squeeze, but then he was an expert.

Aye I have this tent and have not bought the inner but have toyed with the idea as it makes a flexible overnighter with stand up height. I would imagine I would find it a struggle to get it back in the bag with the inner in situ; it is enough of a b*gger bagging it up on its own!

We have the inner in and it will fit, but we've never quite managed to fasten the velcro up!

I struggle to seal the velcro up with just the tent in - so I would have no chance with the inner in there too!
