Trying to buy a Vango Omega 350. And failing.

Out of stock everywhere.

Does anyone know where there are any ?

I've done a Google search, which you've probably already done. Almost all the retailers are out of stock of this tent. GoOutdoors doesn't actually mention the stock situation, and Complete Outdoors say that they are getting more stock in by October - not much help if you want one now is it?

Nice sturdy tent by the way. I've already had a good nosey at an Omega 350 back in the spring - it looks virtually the same as my Equinox 350 which was more expensive.

Hi, yes I had a look at the Equinox, if I can't get the Omega I might get one, it's just a little bit more than I need tent wise, and a little bit lower.  I tried family camping with an Indiana 8 (now for sale) but it wasn't everyones cup of tea.  So I'm looking for something for weekends suitable for me and 1 maybe 2 infant sized children.  Omega 350 seemed ideal, just can't get one!  I was planning to go before it got too cold - didn't expect first difficulty to be that I couldn't actually buy the tent I wanted!!  There's also the Vango Beta's but the Omega's a bit tougher....

try Simply Hike .co.uk they are showing in stock at £119.00, not sure if this includes delivery or not.

or springfield camping, they are showing it a bit dearer at £130.00, again not sure if that is with/without delivery.

Hi skygod.

I checked those sites previously, completeoutdoors was on "pre-order this item" and allweathers was showing pine-sold out.  That's how they are now as well!!!  Maybe they got some in and they sold quick.  I was in a camping shop today asking if they maybe had one in the back (no they didn't) and they said they could have sold 2 or 3 times the amount of tents they had in stock this year.  Looks like everyone is camping.

Simplyhike. I don't see them as having any Omega's at all. If you see something different, please send a link!!

Hi SandyGBR, I don't know if you are still looking for a Vango Omega 350? I've been looking too and notice that Complete Outdoors now have them back in stock.

I thought I'd resurect your thread anyway as they are actually stating them to be the "2010 Model" - can anyone advise on this; is it possible that the "2010 Models" are now available?

I have queried this with Complete Outdoors. Seems some 2010 models are available already!

The new 2010 spec updates apparently are
TBS II Tension band system
As one or flysheet first pitching
Reduced pack length

Sounds good to me.
