Newbie here,  Hello to you all and really hope you can help!

We are a family of 3 ( me the OH and our son who is 18 months old)  We have just returned from 2 weeks camping in France and ripped our Aztec tent on the last day ,so need to replace it.

We would love a tent that has 2 or 3 bedrooms but not right next to each other ( baby son goes to bed early and we would love to be able to talk to each other without him waking up! ) 

We camp mostly in the uk ( love the lakes) but also in the south of France once a year -  so new tent will have to be good in wind and rain as well and hot sun. 

Also a sewn in ground sheet all round as i am fed up of doing a giant spider hunt each night before hubby will come to bed

Please could anyone give me a surgestion?  have been looking at the tent database thingy on here but really need some help narrowing it down a little 

I agree with Pete about having junior in the same bedroom

A belltent or smaller pyramid imho would be perfect, especially camping in France where you may actually get some sun :)

Hi redceder.

                 Have a look at the Cabanon Biscaya 370 (gallery), we use the "Quality Cotton" version as we mostly use the tent for Southern France, but it is also available in "All Season Polyester" which is a little like "PolyCotton" but stronger, and will be easiar to live with in UK climes, the 370 would be ideal for two Adults and a little one, although the bedrooms are side by side. it comes with ZiG so no bugs to bother you, Cabanon even do a "Rip-Stop Polyester" version with SiG not my cup of tea, but great if your looking for small pack size and weight.

....or even a Trout Lake for much the same reasons as above. It has a single bed pod but the divider is zipped in or out as you require.

It's the same quality and has the pollycotton advantages of the other "Lakes" just smaller and somewhat cheaper.

As for the little one. I found the more you try NOT to wake them, the more you are likely to wake them.

Once asleep, just talk as normal and you'll most likely find the little fella will sleep well enough.
