Hi

We have a 2003 Campus Torino 4 that has only been used twice. We are considering using it again for the occasional over-night stay as our other small tent has finally given up the ghost (after 20 years!). The Torino 4 only has a HH of 1500 and came with a tube of seam sealant. The tent has not encountered wet weather on its previous excursions (in 2003/2004), so we wondered whether we should seal the seams before using it or whether this is not necessary? If we need to seal them - suggestions on the best sealant would be welcome.

If anyone has any wet/windy stories about this tent we would also be grateful, especially as we camp with a toddler!

Yours appreciatively 17,

Helen

I don't know this tent but there is no point sealing seams on any tent unless they need it. Pitch the tent and turn the hose on it and you'll soon find out whether it needs done at all.
