Any Indian Lakers out there? A Greenhorn needs help! I have packed away my recently purchased "Indian Lake" after it's maiden pitching. Everything has packed away nicely, except for the central pole. When you are packing away the sections of this pole, the largest pole is supposed to accomodate the smaller ones inside. Despite copius amounts of head scratching and the use of many expletives, I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get all of the smaller sections to pack away into the largest section!
What's the trick?Do I need to do a post-grad for this?

Hi Tidburyboy,

Thanks for that, but it was the search to find the original posting that is causing me problems. In the past I have typed in key words to find a pervious topic. 17

I had a search for that post myself but no luck. It certainly does not come up when you search using "Outwell Indian Lake" as the keywords.

Hi
There is a little ring on the inside of each pole to stop the next section falling all the way through, so slide the second size pole in then the third from the other end then the next from the other end etc etc. It takes a little time to figure it out. Why not go back to your retailer and ask them to show you.
Regards
G CROSS
Retailer.

Thanks for respoonding to my post. I'm aware of the ring inside each section. I have managed to pack down every section from the second biggest down. In other words, as things stand, every section that is smaller than the second biggest section are now contained within the second biggest section. My problem is getting the second biggest section(containing all of the smaller ones)in to the biggest one. There is a cap on either end of the largest section but, as far as I can tell, only one is supposed to come off. However, if I try to put the second largest section in this end the ring stops it from going in. Any thoughts?

Both ends of the cap come off. I must admit I marked the pole sections when they first came out of the bag.....

I ended up taking the pole back to the shop and asking them to show me how to do it!
Didn't realise I'd need a degree to out pole away. Much head scratching!
