hi there went camping for the first time this year and i loved it . i have got a argos tent which was ok but we had no rain should i buy a new one and if so can you give me some ideas thanks.

What is the make of your tent? If it's a well known name it should be ok for another season. If you say what size of tent you might be looking for & how much you want to spend you should get some suggestions.

If you could give us a better idea by telling us a few more details like your budget, how many campers, what sort of camping you like to do (ie how long will you use it, Uk Europe etc), what sort of space in the car you have for packing it - space for storing and also drying when you get back ................

My first tent was a Halfords special (Urban Escape 4 man) and I used to worry about the rain. Rain is probably one of the least of your worries, wind (strong winds) will most likely be the cause of your weekend being wrecked. Fortunately we were lucky, but some hard work repositioning the guy lines (making sure they were tight), stamping the pegs into the ground and some spare fibreglass poles saved us. Others weren't so lucky.
