I don't know if jr leisure will still match it. But if they will - its a great deal! Well done Lurchy! You made a good purchase - we love our Columbia 600!
Just wish I could do the same for the Kampa Bude 4 - but all the dealers are sticking to £199!
From JaySpurs experience, it looks like you got the bargain of the Century! He's not been able to get anyone to go anywhere near a match on the Gaynor's price, although getting a bit off the price.
Well done
Helen

Karla-------Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
I know what you mean about the Bude 4 Helen! Am with you on that wish! It may be reduced at some point but I want one now and don't think I can wait, even if it had lots taken off the price tag!!
------------- It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.

We bought the Icarus 500 yesterday. Was for sale on the internet in Manchester for £139.99 with 10% off for this month only. We went to Mitchells who did a price match and gave us another 10% so we go it for £113.00. Bargin!!!

Thanks to the frosty pictures and review of the Bude 2, I'm celebrating!!! The OH has given the go ahead to get the Bude 4 at the end of the month (as no Council Tax this month). Miracle!! I must have got the arguments just right and dropped it into conversation at the right moment as he sees the value of it now - a bit of stand up luxury for weekends away. The review has certainly helped. I'm not going to wait - strike while the iron's hot so to speak. Just not got to spend for the rest of the month.
Got the Columbia from Norwich Camping for £269.99, not a great bargin but the cheapest price I could find but im happy. Good service and Norwich Camping as well.
Really cannot belive how big the tent bag that itspacked into. Not much room left in the boot for the airbed, sleepings, table and chairs etc...... Lucky because I was very tented to buy a waldrobe, but havent got the space in the car.
Now just got to some decent weather so I can pitch it.
Cheers
Jas

Well, whilst everyone's posting happy results on buying tents, I'll add mine in.
£250 for a new Amazon 600 (2009 model) with a footprint included, means we're all sorted. Now I need to get a removals van to get everything around
Just waiting on it arriving, along with a new Icarus 500 (£125) for when my son and I want to go away for a weekend.
Fortunately I'm a gym instructor, so I plan to get the new tents down into a studio to set them up and make sure they're ok before I go outside with them
