Hi, just got one of these tents for £334, which i think is a great price, anyone looking for a new tent take a look at the link, its rrp is much higher, it has a great living area and 4 bedrooms

did you manage to put it up ok with the instructions given, cos i cant believe the size of the bags

also, i was a bit worried that it didnt include the canopy, but i opened the bag and seen the 2 big windows, so would you say that i have the canopy, i suppose they woulnt send the windows cos it would be pointless

how has the tent stood up to the elements, and have you had any problems fitting it on the pitches, we had a vango diablo 900 before, which was quite big, would you say this was bigger

thanks for the info, good suggestion on splitting the tent poles into 2 bags, will do that

So is the canopy attached to the front of the tent and you clip on the sides, thanks for letting me know id just put the sides on any-old-how

Its good to be able to ask someone who knows what they are doing, looked at it when it arrived and thought, my god, its massive, haha, and ive not got a footprint and carpet yet, where is it all going to go haha

Will definately take it somewhere to try it before we go camping, it will have to be a park or something cos i dont think we know anyone with a big enough piece of grass in their garden haha

I had a triial run with the tent yesterday in someones garden

What a laugh that was, we pitched the groundsheet onto the grass with the zip connectors at the front, then put the tent up onto the ground sheet with the zippers on the opposite side, lol, so we all had to grab a corner and do a 180 degree turn with the top of the tent, then we put it down again, then we tried to zip it up only to find that the straps on the tent had to go under the ground sheet so we had to lift the groundsheet and put it over the straps while in situ, then it was getting dark, so we didnt actually put up the porch area, but did connect the bedrooms before we packed it all away again, we also unzipped the porch roof and put that in the bag seperate, we were thinking of leaving it up til the next day, but glad we didnt as there was a couple of inches of snow thismorning.

We did have a problem getting one of the poles, i think a red one, seperated, but managed after a while with a light tapping of a mallet

really glad we put it up as its all in one now, with the bedrooms inside, and cant believe how easy it is to do all the poles
