Hi, by 'popular demand' I've posted this topic (but sadly have nothing to show at the moment). Post up your photos of creative and resourceful uses of a tarp and poles - with info on DIY if you can. No points or prizes but a great source of inspiration for campers old and new.

I've just got a new tarp and mean to use it! Maybe some of the UKCampsite ever-inventive "camping babes" (they know who they are) would like to share some pics of their set-ups. All in the best possible taste - of course

Seeing as this thread will be 3 years old next birthday, (and seeing as I've only just found it!!), I thought it might be a good idea if I revived it.
There must have been many an attempt, and many a photo, taken between us in that time!!
I'll get the second half under way....
This is the Vango Adventure Tarp, used as a kitchen shelter. My first attempt, and after a few fiddles and minor amendments, I ended up being rather chuffed!! :-)
Now I've shown you mine... let's see yours!! Don't be shy!

I have to say, Alahol2, while that tent looks a bit on the small side for mine and Muckerette's glamping "needs", that set up, and particularly the tarp, is actually rather beautiful!!
Your 4th pic is now my all-time fave tarp pic... so far! Very "spider-esque" :-)
Thanks for sharing.
