Ok have seen and played with it. It only has one door so no use for adding extra little pop ups. Ground sheet not sewn in so I didn't buy it on the spot but I suspect that isn't going to stop me in the end ;)

thanks for that, it would've suited us down to the ground if you could've added a pop up to it. So we'll stick to the base instead

If it just like the 4.2 then the groundsheet folds up a couple of inches and velcros onto the actual tent - a very good set up.

Decathlon are showing the Base Full as "end of collection" (NB only £65 at the moment). Do you think this means they are discontinuing the base full units??? I really hope not - the 4.1 and 4.2 look OK but the Base Full + seconds suit me far better.

It was £65 at Surrey Quays BUT at Lakeside it was either £74.95 or £79.95( can 't recall which), hence the reason we went o Surrey Quays!! So check before you leave home.

The Base Second 4.1 is now down as end of collection. Still £129 but I have my eye on it.
It seems there is a thin SIG at the bedroom end (a bit like the 2 second pop up, I imagine). Can anybody tell me if there is a 'door' to the bedroom, so you can seal yourself off from creepy crawlies at night?
thank you.
This video shows very realistically, i think, how it can be folded up by one fairly agile person. I am a bit too creaky, possibly. However I am quite keen to get one as i can certainly put it up on my own and if i can't fold it away it won't matter 'til the end of my holiday :)

Yes there is a door between the living space and the bedroom.
Our bedroom has always been bug free, providing the door is kept shut of course.
It is very easy to fold once you have the knack, if it is windy I would recommend getting it flat on the floor fairly quickly but then you have al the time you need to fold it.
Good luck I hope you love it

Thanks for the confirmation gtt. :)
I bought a couple of base seconds and a bedroom inner because decathlon were selling them very cheap and i thought they would be easier to manage. However, the 4.1 was my first choice.
The children have taken the base seconds to Glasto and they have been a success, so i don't regret the purchase.
I have had a 2 second quechua for a number of years, so i am sure i can get the hang of it, it's just a question of the kneeling down!
I like the 4.1 because it is the same layout as my lovely khyam classic xl.. which i certainly can't manage on my own :( My husband, sadly, died last year and I am no spring chicken, so I am having to make adjustments. :(
