Hi everyone, I have been looking for a secondhand bedroom annexe to fit my cabanon Andorra which I bought last year but I've never managed to buy one.  The question is - are they worth having?  I know a few members have found them to be heavy and a faff to set up and to buy new would cost more than I paid for the whole tent and canopy.  Is it worth the investment, do you think?

I have been dithering about this too, personally I think they are quite ugly and may make fitting on a pitch difficult. However, its probably the only answer to make our Athena useable for long trips as my kids will not share for longer than 2 nights.

We have considered buying a bedroom inner for child No1 and putting it up in the living area overnight, then slinging the stuff in child No2`s bedroom pod during the day. But I guess that depends on how much you use your living space....we tend to live outside mostly so wouldn`t be to much of a hassle for us

Ok, thanks everyone, will carry on looking out for one secondhand.  I only need it if the OH decides to join us on a camping trip, which isn't that likely.  If I need one in a hurry, Forest camping nearly always has them in stock. I do think cabanon extras are very expensive, I could probably buy 3 decent quality two man tents for what an annexe and inner would cost.

Last season I managed to hang an extra inner tent in the kitchen area which worked quite well but that means taking my outhouse to cook in.  This year, I've promised myself to take less stuff so we can spend more time holidaying and less time packing.  However, my teenage son and daughter need their own space. My daughter usually shares my pod with me and my son has a pup tent.

 Let me know if anyone wants to sell a bedroom annexe!

I'd like the utility annexe for our Andorra to use for a loo but our Andorra doesn't have a zip out panel so it's a non starter for us unless I find a newer Andorra
