Managed to quickly get the Tenby up at on Sunday to check it out, unfortunately I forgot my camera. The tent went up well, the initial lifting of the poles was a little tricky as there seemed to be a vacuum within the tent. I opened the rear door to let some air in and it went up. There was a small burr on one of the poles which initially stopped an upright entering the socket on the roof pole, however this was quickly and easily removed and it all went together and up easily from then on. Inside, the tent is huge, the main section is really light, and the pods with the sleeptite lining seem nice and dark. Tent feels well made and material feels nice and durable.
I tried the frinton canopy on the front, and it fits well the colour match is perfect, even the lines of colour match. The straps at the rear will need a small bungee to reach down to where the poles all attach to the pins/ rings, and for a belt and braces approach the bungees could also be used to attach the small tapes at the side to the poles leaning out at the front of the tent, being bungees they will have a little flexibility built in.
Overall very impressed, but in reverse to the vacuum putting the tent up, we struggled getting it down as it had trapped a lot of air inside, in future when striking the tent I will ensure the doors are left open to aid folding and also future erection.

Hi all, this is my first time on this forum. I am in the process of selling my Outwell XL to buy a Tenby 10.
Me and the wife went to Camperite 3 weeks ago and she saw the Tenby 10, well that was it all i have herd for the last two weeks is "are we getting that new tent!"
I searched around for info and stumbled across this site and your posts have been really usful, thanks again. I was interested to hear that you can use the Frinton 4 canopy as an extension, as soon as i saw the Tenby 10 front I was put off due to the sloping front and the usual problems when it rains. Same issue i had with my Outwell, the water fell back into the porch when you open the door.
Cant wait to see your pictures with the canopy on.
Well i think my mind has been made up, looks like Dave at camperite is gonna have to order another Tenby 10 with carpet and Frinton 4 canopy.
Any way thanks again
Heady

Hi again,
I've added a second review, plus a couple of piccies with the Frinton 4 canopy attached. One of these photos is also now in my profile.
Heady - You'll be able to see the canopy in action in the latest photos.
I have to say this was a great tent to put up, use and take down - so long as you take care with those long poles and get them set right to start with.
Finally be careful when doing the first lift with the centre poles !
------------- Cheers,
Pete.
