hi all - anybody got a Vango maritsa 700 ?? Is it any good ?? Looks great and thinking of getting one  - anybody got any unbiased info.

Hi ireman.

I purchased a Maritsa 700 recently after seeing it erected at Go Outdoors in Coventry. It's our first 'proper' tent and ticked all the boxes we needed/wanted:

- decent sized porch for cooking in
- will sleep 4 of us very comfortably and 5 on the odd occasion when father in law joins us
- good sized living area
- sewn in groundsheet (our personal preference)

Having said all that, we haven't actually used it in anger yet. Planning to have a test of ercting it in the garden this weekend and then away for three nights from April 2nd. I'll try to post a review in the Tent Reviews section after that.

For what it's worth, other tents that we looked at and considered where the Outwell Hartford XL, the Vango Kura 800 DLX and the Vango Colorado 800 DLX. I'm sure that there are plenty of other candidates as well. Might be worth doing a search in the Tent Reviews section of this site to get ideas.

Will watch with interest because i like the look of this tent , could you post plenty of pics from inside and outside views if you can
