Same here, we went last year with all of them in the Aspen and it was fine, 4 girls and 1 lad, our son had is own room, with the other 4 girls sharing the other 2, we then used the living area at night to sleep and sometimes the kids swapped with us, it worked perfectly and if we left the double mattress up in the day it was used for chilling out on, although last year we never needed to stay in once.
We made our own carpets for a bit of extra comfort but there are plenty of posts on here for alternatives, get yourself a groundsheet to go under the tent before you pitch it, we got a large blue one from B&Q and cut it to size, a little smaller all around the edge, we were fortunate enough to have a very large garden to use and try ours out on and cut the groundsheet at the same time.
For the actual tent you don't really need anything else apart from a porch for the reasons I gave earlier, a groundsheet and some carpets on the floor, it does make a difference.
For other bits do a search on here for each item as you want to found out the best options, there are loads of good suggestions on here and some you may not have thought of.
As an example, we use all our pots and pans and cooking utensils from home when we go, saves money and somewhere to keep stuff you don't use, you will of course end up with everything as we did but are slowly fine tuning our needs so we actually take less or more compact alternative, we used to take the duvets from home as well and whilst they are extremely comfy they do take up a lot of space, so this year we have just bought them some Mummy sleeping bags and we are getting a Coleman Double, that's just an example but you will find your feet on this site and enjoy what for us as been a great adventure for the kids and already have met some nutters....ooops, great minding friends who share the outdoor life.
It may seem a pain trying to sort everything, it took us months to source all out gear but once you have everything, you can't beat that feeling when you know you can get away anytime you want at relative small cost, anywhere in the country.
