Based on recommendations on this site I bought a Vango large canopy for my Vango Tamor 500 from Yeoman's on line. I have not tried it yet but I am confident that it will be all right. I paid 34.90 including delivery. I would have preferred the vango extension, but the price diference was too much. There are pictures of the Tamor + large canopy on the tent review section of the UK Campsite and they look good. The only disadvantage seems to be that with strong winds it may need to be taken down, but I don't think it too much of a problem. If you haven't taken a decision by May time I will have tried it and am quite prepared to let you know how I got on. Good luck.
The large sun canopy is fab and with a few deltas in it, it should stand up to most weather. The elastic part pops off but that's usually a good thing because it allows wind to blow through it instead of underneath it. We use it with our coleman weathermaster l and our outwell nevada s, so it should fit your tent ok.
Couldnt find a Vango Sun Canopy in Laurel Sage for a reasonable price. £60 was the best which is near enough what we paid for the whole tent!!!! Even on ebay second handers were going for £40+. So this weekend bought an Aztec Sun Canopy for £24 from outdoor world. Close colour match so will see how it performs and report back.
