From a search here, it appears finding an extension is only slightly easier than the grail.

I need to get hold of one before June. Are stock shortages seasonal, or should I consider alternatives?

Anyone have any reputable companies that can get an order in, or hold one?

Anyone know if a Montana 6 extension will work (it's about 10cm wider)?

Extensions for the Minnesotas have often been difficult to obtain. There does seem to be few Minny 6s this season - maybe shops have prefered to stock the Oakland XL.

Try Tents & Camping and Camperlands. I've dealt with Camperlands and they are fine.
