Hi ive been looking for a new tent for a few weeks now and think i have found the perfect one in the kappa fistral 4. I just wondered has anyone else tried this tent or any other from the kampa 2010 range. Im trying to find out how good the 'sleeptite' system is in the bedroom, its meant to keep it dark and just wondered if anyone knows just how good this feature works?
plus any further info or pictures on the inside bedrooms or anything would be really helpful. ive tried to research as much as i can but i just cant seem to find anywhere that has this info
thank in advance!
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Try looking at the pictures and review (when the site administrator passes it for going live) of the Kampa Bude 4 - we pitched it yesterday. It has the same style of inner tent.
Thanks for everyone's advice. I went ahead and ordered the kampa fistral with footprint and tent carpet and it arrived this morning! I'm dying to test it out now! Will hopefully get it up in the next couple of weeks and will post some pictures up when I do
Just bought one of these ourselves. Looked at good at the shop, and even better now it's up in the garden! Pretty easy to erect, just me (with "assistance" from young children).
Bought as a package with footprint groundsheet and carpet from camping world in Frensham for £350 - seemed like by far the best tent for the money.
Now we're looking forward to sleeping in it tonight...
We have done a lot of research and have decided to get a Kampa Filey 6. However, we can't decide between the now cheaper 2009 model and the new 2010. The big difference seems to be the sleeptite system. However, there are no stockest near where we live that have both to compare (not even different berths). So does anyone know whether the sleeptite system is worth an extra £100? Or if you have a 2010 model with the sleeptite system (any berth) could you tell me if the sleeping compartments are really dark enough to make a difference?
