Can anyone recommend a family tent 6+ berth that pitches flysheet first? We already have a dome tent (Royal Biarritz 6) but I find it's a bit of a pain to pitch in the rain, so am trying to persuade dh that we should splash out!
Thanks,
Nicky

If you are quick you can still pick up a 2009 Vango Columbia 600, steel poles, 5000HH, SIG, 2/3 bedrooms, wind shedding shape, enclosed wet weather entrance etc.... available for around £275 (RRP £450). If you go for sage colour the 2010 Sungari 600 canopy, footprint and carpet will fit. A real bargain given the price of similar spec tents for 2010.
The most popular one would be the Outwell Montana. But KAMPA are proving themselves to be very good quality at very resonable prices. The KAMPA equivalent to the Montana is the Croyde 6 and, unlike the Montana, it comes with a canopy built in. You should be able to get it for £300.
Hi gear do a Montana 6 copy which has a canopy with it too, called Corado. We picked it up for £250 and it does well though I dont know when it will be on sale this year
