Hey I am looking to buy a smaller  tent as the one i have is too large to erect just for a weekend away.

we are 2 people (husband and wife) no kids no dog...

would like a tent that is quick to put up and sleeps two comfortably. At least a part of it should be tall enough so that you can stand up in, so that you can get your cackers on in the morning without tripping over!

Any ideas??

Have a look at the Vango Kairos 300 or 400

There's another two that seem to be very highly recommended here. The Outwell Arizona L and the Kampa Bude 4. I quite like the Vango though.

I saw a vango tigris 400 today which would work for 2.

We'd second the Kampa Bude 4 if you want it to potentially last longer. Kampa use 100D 4000HH flysheets on their ultimate range which have a higher tear and UV resistance. The higher the denier the longer the polyester will resist UV degradation and the stronger it is - almost all other makes use 70-75D flysheets. The materials and design in all respects is top quality. Its worth noting that you can pack away the second bedroom giving you more living space. It isn't as quick to pitch being semi-geodesic in shape and having very long poles, but the design has greater stability.

If you go for a tunnel shape, the Vango TBS internal strapping which reduces the flexing of the poles is invaluable!

There are a lot out there to choose from - so have fun!

Helen

Easy Camp Licata 400 is a great weekend tent for 2-3 people.
