Further to Gary's information, we have the new 2010 Kampa Bude 4 with the SleepTite inner - see the photos I've put on the review page for the tent. The following is a description of the inner -
The inner tent fabric is mid to dark grey with the front panel of the inner tent (i.e. with the door in it) backed on the inside in a silverish reflective type coating. When we trial pitched the tent we didn't shut the inner's door so don't know how dark it will be inside - but it would certainly be darker than the cream inners of our Vango Columbia. The reflective coating is intended to help even out the temperature in the inner tent - i.e. warmer in cold weather and cooler in hot weather - and will no doubt block out light from the living area of the tent
For some of the tents there is also a darker section of roof in the flysheet over the inners and it seems that for some of the tents they have added a grey coloured additional treatment to the fabric of the fly, but the roof of the Bude 4 is light coloured, so in this case the SleepTite performance relates to the material used in the inner tent rather than the flysheet. The page for the Frinton in their brochure http://issuu.com/tcedesign/docs/kampa_tents_brochure_2010_sm shows the treatment on the inside of the flysheet as well as the colour of the inners.
Hope this helps!
Helen
