We have an Outwell Hartford XL which is absolutely great for camping in the UK for the 5 of us. I love the tunnel/porch which is great for keeping stuff in and then the sealed inner living area, easy to keep snug at night, and the pods are cozy.

Sadly, from being 5 of us in the past, there will only be 3 of us this year (husband is a wimp, and teenage daughter refuses).

I think the 3 of us will struggle to put the Hartford up on our own, so I wondered wether anyone had a tent that they might like to swap with us?

When I saw the heading for this post, I imagined loads of campers sat round a camp fire throwing their car keys into a pot, then picking a set out to discover which tent they would be sleeping in that night.

I'd rather be kayaking.

Don't have anything myself cause all mine are large tents. But think your idea is really good. There maybe should be a forum for swaps.

Hi alrklein

Which type of tent was you looking to swap? we have a Vango Icarus 600DXL Touring tent. Bought it last year from tamwothe camping direct used, not by us. We have had it up in the garden to check it was okay and it looks brand new. Don't know if that is the sort of thing you are after really easy for two people to put up. Also have the footprint for tent.
