Hi, we have just bought a second-hand Outwell Montana 6 and found that the side porch pole is broken.  Can anyone advise on anywhere that might sell us a replacement pole please?

I am not completely sure of the age of the tent and from reading on here, i understand that they changed this particular pole in some later models.  I would hazard a guess though that it is a 2007 model - I can post up photos if this helps?

many thanks in advance!

Try a goggle search, some dealer will have a set. Or make up one from skinny fibreglass poles

I made one up out of the poles from a cheap beach tent that the kids had wrecked.

The pole snapped because it was slightly too long in my opinion ,and put it under too much strain, also made the side door zip difficult to close.

so I made the replacement one a couple of inches shorter than the original and it worked a treat.

Exactly what ive thought, ive contemplated taking a inch or two off the pole purely to reduce the strain on the inner side door of the porch side.
