Hi everyone

We are new to the world of camping and looking for a 5 berth tent (there is me, hubby and toddler Charlie who is 18 months).  Will probably only use it for weekends for the time being, maybe a week if we get hooked (!).

Have done a fair bit of on-line research and think we are down to the Outwell Nevada M vs the Vango Orchy 600.  SIG and easy to pitch being key, along with the separate bedrooms.

However, we'd like to view these in the flesh before making a purchase and ca't seem to establish easily whether there are places near us (we are South London, so can't imagine they are that near...) where we could go and see these erected.

Does anyone know of any places where we could view these, within a 2 hr drive of South London if possible - so Surrey, Sussex, Kent might all be do-able?

Thanks in advance for any help!

FordyBee

If there are just three of you and you don`t mind the bedroom pod opened as one the the Orchy is great, the divided pod JUST fits a double airbed in. We used ours as one bedroom, has our mattress sideways on and a child at the bottom of the bed.

There`s very little in Kent tent viewing wise, but there is a new, massive Go Outdoors near Horsham, my mate was raving about this weekend....used to be Camping International

Thanks everyone.  We are visiting friends this weekend and have found The Family Tent Shop in Shepperton, Middx which is near them.  Their website lists both so hoping to get some more info from a trip there.

Thanks again.

We have just picked up our nevada m and front extension from our brand new go camping - it'll bankrupt us I think

Our wynnster got a bit damaged over the last couple of years and now that we have a 23 moth old the SIG was looking very attractive.

Hope to have a test pitch at the weekend so that our wee boy can get used to it along with his Thomas the Tank readybed.

It will get it's first outing at the end of the month.

Can't wait
